Outcome Students who participate in the yearlong Peer Health Education Program (PHE) will improve their knowledge and skills in the following domains: communication, teamwork, leadership, initiative, professionalism, time management and self-care. This will be measured using a pre-post test assessment of these seven (7) skills. PHEs will also be scheduled for one-on-one meetings with their respective program manager to discuss pre and post assessment results and to receive feedback.
Benchmark 100% of the PHEs will show improvement on their pre-post test assessment (e.g. from low skill to average or high skill) by the end of the academic year. 100% of the PHEs will be able to give at least one example of how they improved their skills in each of the domains.
