Outcome During the summer student staff training, SOAR Center student staff will increase their knowledge of retention barriers and challenges faced by first-generation, low-income, underrepresented and underserved students in higher education, and be able to articulate 5 specific retention barriers and campus resources available to help students overcome these barriers.
