Outcome New LGBTQ+ Student Orientation Program Description: The New Student LGBTQ Student Orientations are open community Orientations & involvement fair for new, returning and transfer students where the LGBTRC showcases resources and opportunities for student involvement. During the orientations, students will learn about opportunities to engage with the larger LGBTQQIA2SP+ community as well as learn skills to develop a support network on and off campus. Method of Assessment: • Pre & Post Assessments given in the form of a google survey Questions may include: -Can you name two ways you can give involved with the LGBTQ+ community this next upcoming year? -Name (two or more) programs you’d be interested in attending? -Did you find the icebreakers and activities helped you bond with fellow students in the orientation? Learning Outcomes By attending the New Student LGBTQ+ Student Orientation Students will be able to · Identify areas of the LGBTRC in which they would like to get involved · Discuss and explain the reasons in which they have come to the New LGBT Student Orientation · Develop support networks and community through the different community building exercises during New LGBT Student Orientation · Articulate ways in which the LGBTRC provides resources and supports student success.
