Outcome |
Student interns with SRC will gain the professional development and leadership opportunities needed to engage the challenges and solutions of sustainability in a campus, community, and global context. |
Benchmark |
Interns will be assessed with a pre and post professional development evaluation on a standardized rubric form at the beginning of their onboarding with SRC. The performance evaluation will be revisited quarterly with qualitative input from both the student and their supervisor in a one on one interview. Students will be assessed on qualities such as stakeholder engagement, interpersonal or intercultural communication, critical thinking, and other skills that lend themselves to tackling today's intersection climate challenges. Students must show which activities or projects show mastery of the skill. 80% of student interns are expected to be scored at a 4 out 5 performance in at least 2 identified leadership development areas by the end of the academic year. |
