Outcome Student Trip Leaders – As a result of going through the Student Trip Leader Training Course to become a trip leader in Outdoor Adventures students will gain valuable soft skills in self-confidence, self-awareness, sound judgement and risk management. This will be assessed via a survey to trip leaders at the end of the academic year.
Benchmark 80% of student trip leaders will report having learned greater confidence, self-awareness, judgment and risk management assessment skills during training. The survey consists of a binary question and then a follow up open ended question to fully explain their answer.
