Outcome |
Program Outcome: Siteimprove, a UCOP-funded service, monitors UC websites, generates accessibility reports, and offers an online learning platform. In 2021, DSC launched the Siteimprove Summer Camp for faculty and staff, inviting them from across the campus to form a learning community around Siteimprove and digital accessibility. It started as an incentive for our own staff to explore accessibility more deeply and improve the accessibility of our own website.
Outcome #1: The DSC Siteimprove Learning Circle will continue to build a community of staff and faculty.
Outcome #2: This program will raise awareness of Siteimprove and build skills in order to increase usage of the tool and to improve campus digital accessibility. Through peer/parallel learning, attendees will complete Siteimprove Academy courses or modules that have been announced ahead of time and how to apply what has been learned. |
Benchmark |
100% of program participants will demonstrate an increased awareness by the end of the program. |
