As a result of participating in the KUCI Training Program, DJs and show hosts will be able to demonstrate their knowledge in the proficiency of FCC Regulations, station policies, and use of the studio equipment by passing a written test for FCC Regulations and station policies knowledge as well as for studio equipment knowledge at minimum 80%. |

Assessment Summary:
Student DJs and show hosts will take a test during Week 9 of each Academic Quarter (less Summer), in the training class, using the standard KUCI training test. The test consists of 50 multiple choice questions about KUCI's history, philosophy, policies & procedures, FCC regulations, and studio equipment use. There is also a written test with a sample operating log. Tests will be graded within 24-48 hours and results will be released to all who took the test as well as to the Broadcast Media Coordinator. |
