Outcome	As a result of participating in SPOP, students will: (1) Be more confident in interacting with faculty during the academic year. (2) Have a better idea of their personal and academic goals for their time at UCI. (3) Get involved in co-curricular opportunities at UCI.
Benchmark	70% of those who participated in SPOP will: (1) Be more confident in interacting with faculty during the academic year. (2) Have a better idea of their personal and academic goals for their time at UCI. (3) Get involved in co-curricular opportunities at UCI. The benchmark for these goals are a bit lower than for others, because there is still so much for students to discover. We get them closer to defining their goals, but those will continue to change as their time at UCI goes on.
