Outcome	Through the Student-Initiated Outreach and Retention programs, UCI volunteers will foster critical dialogue, mentorship, and reimagine the educational system to improve college access, retention, and graduation rates for historically underrepresented and under-resourced communities within the surrounding Orange County and Los Angeles county area. UNIT OUTCOME: SIO/SIR program volunteers will attend a 3-part workshops series through a train-the-trainer (T4T) model to support high school college mentorship programs.
Benchmark	80% of program participants will present their SIP project at the end of the year and discuss how their program help support college readiness or retention efforts at UCI.
