Outcome Program Title: Stay Woke Program Description: Stay Woke is a community share event that focuses on LGBTQQIA2SP+ issues & social Justice issues across intersections of identity. Stay Woke intends to be a free- flowing space for queer communities & allies to support and affirm each other. Stay Woke features weekly discussions on liberation, cultural wellness, social-justice work and ally-ship. Method of Assessment: • Quarterly Google form will be administered and sent to participants • Questions May include: -Can you name two current events, media, issues or trends that you learned at Stay Woke that you previously have not engaged with in regards to your activism or identiy? -How have the Community Agreements shaped your experience with interacting in Stay Woke? -Do the community agreements, introductions with names & pronouns & icebreakers shape your experience or participation in Stay Woke? -How has Stay Woke impacted or shaped your activism and sense of identity? -Can you name two examples of how Stay Woke has shifted your activism? -What tools have you learned that may impact your understanding of cultural wellness? -How might we improve Stay Woke for future sessions? Learning Outcomes: By Attending Stay Woke Sessions: • Participants will be able to articulate (2) meaningful intersectional issues or trends and how they can use that content to inform their identities, communities, and their activism. • Participants will be to explain how the intersections of their multiple identities connect them with other people and social issues. • Participants will build empathy, and a concern for the social good of others, therefore, contributing to a community of care and belonging.
