Outcome ASSESSING 2022-23 (MOBILE DEVELOPMENT): Students participating in The Level Up Program at Level 3 as an IT Mobile Developer will learn and apply the OKR method of goal-setting; learn and apply key principles of scrum methodology in an agile environment; learn and apply project management techniques; demonstrate proficiency with Github developer repository; learn and demonstrate fundamentals of Amazon Web Services; demonstrate a high-level understanding of the system design of a mobile software project; understand version control systems and why they are important in team software development environments; demonstrate ability to produce clean, structured, well-documented code based on specifications. Students will also demonstrate proficiency in Student Affairs’ Learning Dimensions one through four (Problem Solving; Professionalism; Teamwork; Communication). This combined with approximately nine hours of mandatory UC-employee training will prepare the students for success in their current role and prepare them for future professional settings. Students participating at Level 3 must complete 300 experience hours to be eligible for promotion Level 4. SCES ASSESSMENT MISSION STATEMENT: Foster the professional growth and development opportunities via four levels of employment increasing in responsibility for UCI undergraduate and graduate students preparing for success in their current employment and in future professional settings. Benchmark It was noted that during the pervious 22-23 assessment period, “the L3 Software Developer Quiz (Part 1), L3 Software Developer Quiz (Part 2A Wayfinder), L3 Software Developer Quiz (Part 2B Mobile-iOS) or (Part 2B Mobile-Android) were systematically deployed to all L3s with inconsistent results.” Therefore, assessment for 23-24 will focus on systematic and consistent results for every mobile team member regarding these specific tests.
