Outcome ACTIVE stands for "Activating Community Through Initiative, Vision, and Empowerment". ACTIVE is a peer-facilitator program offered as a 2-part 4-unit course during Winter and Spring quarters. ACTIVE participants will: -Develop public speaking skills, critical thinking skills, learn how to maneuver through the various privileges and oppressions related to their identity, and by taking initiative in group settings as discussion leaders and group facilitators.
Benchmark 100% of participants will be able to develop public speaking skills and lead peer dialogues across campus.
