Outcome |
Learning outcome: FRESH Basic Needs Hub has been receiving feedback for years from FRESH student employees about how working at the FRESH Hub makes them happier and more connected to the University, and we wanted to measure this.
Newly hired students who participate in the Student Assistant team at the FRESH Basic Needs Hub will increase their sense of belonging on campus. At the beginning of their employment, new student staff will take a pre-survey to measure their current sense of belonging on campus. They will take a post-survey at the end of their employment and 60% of the new student staff will increase their sense of belonging as per the sense of belonging scale. The baseline data will come from the pre-survey administered at the beginning of their employment. The change in their sense of belonging will be assessed by their post-survey data administered at the end of the 21-22 academic year. |
Benchmark |
60% of those who participated in the 21-22 FRESH student assistant new hires will have an increase in sense of belonging on campus by the end of their employment term. |
