In Spring 2020, Palo Verde facilitated a self-directed activity on diaphragmatic breathing to support the “Personal Responsibility†UCI Student Affairs Learning Outcome.
Specifically, by participating in the self-directed learning activity on diaphragmatic breathing, residents of UCI Student Housing’s Grad & Family Housing would be able to utilize diaphragmatic breathing to lower anxiety.

Evac Site Event
|
Attendees of the Evac Site event will be able to identify where to go for instructions and to check in following an emergency. Additionally, they will be able to identify two preparatory steps they can take to ensure their household is prepared for an emergency situation. Direct observation as well as post-tests of student knowledge, will be utilized for assessment.
