Wellness Center related programming
|
Due to COVID, we changed our learning outcome from programs within the Wellness Center to a self-directed, online learning experiences.
Presently as of Spring 2020: Given our remote context, we were contemplating facilitating an online, self-directed learning experience around diaphragmatic breathing for residents of Verano Place utilizing Google Forms. Specifically, Verano residents who complete the self-directed learning experience will feel lower stress by practicing diaphragmatic breathing. We think this fits within the “Personal Responsibility†domain because of its connection to “self-efficacy,†“preventative health/wellness,†and “seeking resources and support when needed.â€
Pre-Covid learning outcome: In order to decrease perceived stress and increase personal wellness, wellness center programs will be promoted at least 2x per week in the wellness center. Survey of all program attendees will be distributed at the start of the spring quarter to assess for impact on wellness, perceived stress level.
