To promote youth-adult partnerships to support positive youth engagement. Youth program student employees will be required to complete a total of 20 hours of pre camp training to ensure healthy professional partnerships are developed, and maintained. Staff will learn how to spot child abuse and learn methods on how to prevent while at the workplace. Each staff member will need to complete a checklist of online learning modules that will best prepare them for the essential job functions and state required regulations. Staff will having coaching session throughout the program to ensure training exceptions are met, and positive engagement is maintained. Upon the conclusion of the program, employees will receive a survey to evaluate their training preparedness, experience with program, and overall enjoyment of working with youth.

Participants in the Food for Fitness class offered by UCI Campus Recreation will increase their knowledge of the benefits and detriments of fitness supplements, and be able to state two effects that the three most popular fitness supplements, protein, creatine, and pre-workout, have been shown to have for physical performance after attending the class.
Participants in the Food for Fitness class offered by UCI Campus Recreation will increase their knowledge of different eating behaviors, and be able to identify three benefits of fiber in the diet after attending the class.
Participants in the Food for Fitness class offered by UCI Campus Recreation will increase their knowledge of different eating behaviors, and be able to identify one health benefit from eating prebiotics after attending the class.
